Use of Club
Members may book the club for private functions, however limitations may apply.
Parties
Parties may be booked by members only sending a letter to the Secretary well in advance of the function. We will consider the application at the next committee meeting and notify you of the outcome.
These are limited to the back lounge for Saturday nights. All guests and members must pay a door entry fee, i.e. current £2 for members and £3 for guests; this is to assist in covering the cost of the group.
Parties on other nights may be held in front lounge. On these occasions you may wish to provide your own entertainment.
Saturday nights is limited to around 30 people, any other night the limit is 70 for the front lounge and 60 in the back lounge.
If holding a party you may also provide food for your party and use of the kitchen may be made available. Obviously we expect the kitchen to be returned to us in the same condition as given.
We do not charge a fee as such however donations will be appreciated to cover costs of facilities, etc.
Funerals
Funerals may be booked by contacting the President or Captain who will confirm whether it is possible to hold the funeral reception in Kay Park BC. These functions are limited to Members and direct families only. This restriction is placed due to recent changes in licence regulations.
When booking a funeral give date, time and arrangements; discuss refreshment requirements. If acceptable a price per head will be quoted to cover cost of food provided. There is no direct charge made for bar staff or kitchen staff so again donations are appreciated.
Children are allowed in the premises for both funerals and parties. However, under-16's must leave the premises before 11pm. Again this is imposed under licencing regulations.
